A Life Story Tribute page is a web page that tells the story of a person’s life who has passed away, in text images and video. It’s a place where friends and family can say nice things or add fond memories or tell stories and remember the good things about someone’s life. It is where they pay tribute to the deceased person and their life. It’s a legacy for the successors of that person to be able to read and enjoy for generations to come.
It is an online name plate on the Legacy of Sport site that is a free memorial and that displays Name, Who they are being remembered by, Date of birth and death, home town, profession and a quote. You can pay to expand your plaque to a Life Story Tribute page but some people are happy with just a Digital Plaque.
The tribute pages have been designed to be very simple so that everyone can use them but if you have a technical problem simply contact us through the contact us page and we’ll create a ticket to fix your problem within 48 hours.
Tribute pages cost £36 per year or a one off payment of £150 and we will help you to create your page too.
It is easy to avoid this by searching for the deceased fan’s name first to see if someone has already created a profile for them. If there are two profiles then talk to the other person and one of you can delete their profile. Tribute pages can have more than one page manager.
There are 50 existing trees at our Gloucester Community Training Ground and we will be planting other trees once those 50 are Memorialised.

Yes the recipients usually send a thank you letter to the donor of their boots via the Foundation. Sometimes children or parents are embarrassed about needing help and don’t want to be identified as requiring help or charity and if this happens we respect their wishes and the CEO of the Foundation sends you a thank you letter and describes the profile of the person or family in the community who received the boots whilst keeping them anonymised.
Without your payments we cannot pay for the web hosting, customer support, cyber security, web development, ecommerce, digital marketing, bookkeeping etc If your donations stop you will receive reminder emails and WhatsApp messages before your digtal assets and content are compressed and archived. We make every effort to contact you and other Page Managers. That is why it is wise to have several Page Managers.
